£75,000 - £80,000 + Senior Package
A Senior opportunity is available for an ambitious, motivated and experienced residential Technical Director to lead the new build residential division of a well-known and long-established multi-faceted construction group. The group employs around 300 people and the residential division itself delivers family and executive homes recognised for their design, quality and sustainability.
The role is regional and based in the North West and is a direct report to the Managing Director. The role presents quite an exclusive opportunity to join a successful senior leadership team during an exciting period of the group’s growth.
As the Technical Director you’ll be responsible for leading the technical department and provide strategic planning for all residential sites across the division. You will develop and grow the capabilities with your team to ensure the business is on target for profit forecasts. You will be responsible for the set-up of future schemes and management of existing projects; setting targets, objectives and clear responsibilities for the wider teams as well as investigating new and alternative methods for buildability and price.
You will be central to managing relationships with external consultants and statutory bodies and supporting the commercial, construction and sales teams when coordinating aspects of the design and technical requirements.
