Description
Due to a recent successful tender a multi-disciplined civil engineering contractor are seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to work on a highways construction project in East Anglia.
The business turn over close to £650M per annum and operate a number of lucrative frameworks across the civil engineering, rail and aviation sectors.
They are firmly established in East Anglia and with diverse portfolio of projects they are well placed to offer the successful candidate a rewarding long-term career in the region.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Lead and working as part of a team you will manage a range of sub-contract packages through to final account. Projects are a mixture of highways construction and maintenance schemes valued between £2M-£15M each and administered under NEC terms.
Experience Required
Suitable candidates will be educated to HNC / BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent. You will be able to demonstrate no less than 5 years Quantity Surveying experience working on civil engineering, infrastructure or utility projects. You must have a good understanding of NEC Contracts.
