The Role
Assisting other Document Controllers
Be a point of contact for administration
Point of contact for liaising with Sub-Contractors/Client
Download/upload documentation onto
Print, stamp and file contractual correspondences
Control of all documents received whether by hand, post or electronically.
Scanning, printing and distribution of all “Controlled” incoming documents.
Creation and management of project filing structure and all associated registers.
Management of information on the project defined document management system.
Scanning, printing and internal distribution of all outgoing documents. Ensuring that all documents used on site are the current version of the document.
Ensuring that the ‘Change Control’ system for information is implemented and followed.
Producing specific data management and document production reports for the client.
Producing ad-hoc reports as and when required. Maintaining a paper copy of all documents, as the project’s Master Files. Ability to work as part of the Change Control’ team.
Experience Required
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate previous document control management experience ideally working on mechanical and electrical contracts Any document control experience using Conject or BIW software will be advantageous.
