As a result of an increase in awarded work on their framework a civil and engineering and utility contractor are seeking to appoint a Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor to complement their existing commercial team in North London
The schemes are a mixture of civil engineering and clean water utility projects with a combined value of £10M per annum. This presents an excellent opportunity for a bright and ambitious  Quantity Surveyor to join a friendly and experienced team towards the beginning of a five year framework. You can expect to receive industry renowned training and will be fully supported to work towards professional qualifications such as RICS.

The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for delivering  the full range of post contract QS duties including; sub-contract procurement and management, payment applications, cost reporting, client liaison, CVR’s and agreeing final accounts.  You will have the opportunity to carry our regular site visits and are likely to work on three to four schemes at any one time.

Experience Required 

Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent and will be able to demonstrate no less than five years post graduate experience gained working on civil engineering, utility or infrastructure projects.
You will be well versed with NEC forms of contract and be capable or mentoring and providing leadership to junior members of your team.
