Description
A major contractor have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior QS to work on a high profile Crossrail project in Central London. As an organisation they are well regarded as one of the leading employers in the civil engineering sector.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be encouraged to work across their different business units throughout your career allowing you to diversify and maximise experience your QS experience across rail, heavy civils, highways, water and utilities.
The Role
The project is
Reporting to the Commercial Manager main duties will include:
Assisting with the preparation of weekly and monthly commercial reports,
Maintain procurement schedules
Value management
Identifying and reporting on contract variations,
Subcontractor procurement and management,
Assisting with claims management
Assisting with the control of project documentation.
Experienced Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying and have no less than five years post graduate experience working on civil engineering or utility contracts. You must have an understanding of relevant forms of contract such NEC, ICE or I ChemE.
