Description

An opportunity for an experienced P6 planner has become available with a tier one civil engineering contractor based on a water framework in East Sussex.
The company are enjoying a sustained period of growth and as such are well placed to offer excellent on going career advancement opportunities.
This vacancy is open to both permanent and contract applicants.

The Role
Your responsibilities will be include the provision of the planning function on waste water projects ensuring that all stages of the project life cycle from inception to client hand over are carefully planned and clearly communicated to the operational teams.
Working closely the contracts and commercial manager day to day duties will include:
Preparation of schedule data for schemes to determine costs and rates
Preparation of the production and look ahead process
Provide advise on project delivery to facilitate best possible decisions being made on site.
Produce reports to help identify delivery efficiencies, improvements and mitigation of risks.

Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate significant planning experience using Primavera 6 on civil engineering or utility projects in the UK.
You will be educated to HNC / BSc Civil Engineering and will have progressed your career from site engineer and therefore have an excellent understanding of construction processes.
