Due to recently awarded tenders a civil engineering main contractor that turnover in excess of £500M per annum are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on civils and rail projects across the capital.
The initial project is a rail related civils scheme valued at £40M based in Central London
The business unit is well established and they are supported by the wider group who have interests in general infrastructure, construction and offshore projects.

The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with the Project and Construction managers you will be expected to provide leadership and support to junior members of the commercial team.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
Sub-contract procurement and management
Cash flow forecasting
Identification and management of risk
Identification and management of change to the contract
Compiling monthly CVR reports
Submitting payment applications
Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying and will have no less than five years post graduate experience working on civil engineering, rail, infrastructure or utility contracts in either a sub-contractor or main contractor environment.
You will be well versed with NEC contracts and have first class communication and presentation skills.
