Description

A major civil engineering and utility contractor are seeking to appoint a Senior QS to work on a water project valued at circa £15M.
The work has a minimum of two years to run with an extension of the framework likely to offer a further five years.
Projects are a mixture of developer services and water mains replacement schemes and are administered under NEC conditions.

The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager responsibilities include the full range of post contract duties including:
Cost Reporting
Budgetary Management
Working with the Project Manager to identify risks and opportunities on the sub programme
Management of supplier and sub-contractor accounts
Provide leadership and support to junior members of the QS team.

Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or similar and will be able to demonstrate a stable career history working for recognised contractors on civil engineering, infrastructure or utility contracts .
You will have good working knowledge of NEC contracts.
