Description

Due to an increase of work on the framework a tier 1 civil engineering contractor are seeking to appoint a Senior QS to complement their team in Tunbridge, Kent.
The company turn over in excess of £500M per annum and maintain a strong presence in the water, power and rail sectors. This role offers the opportunity to join a business with clear growth plans where excellent prospects for career advancement to Commercial Management are available.

The Role
The Senior QS will provide commercial leadership on a foul water contract valued at £35m/year in Kent.
Duties are to cover the full scope of post contract Quantity Surveying including managing subcontractors, compiling reports, cost recovery.
The role requires a particular emphasis on building relationships with the Operations teams in order to further commercial understanding and knowledge in the team.

Experience Required
Suitable candidates will be educated to HNC / BSc Quantity Surveying and have no less than five years experience working for a contractor ion civil engineering, infrastructure or utility schemes.
