Description
An excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor has become available to work on the prestigious HS2 Project.
The role is based two to three days per week in Euston, Central London and will form part of a commercial team responsible for delivering a heavy civil engineering and structures package valued at £110M over the next three years.
This role presents an excellent career move working for a leading tier one, civil engineering contractor responsible for some of the most iconic projects across Europe.

The Role
Working along side a Senior Quantity Surveyor and reporting to the Commercial Manager the QS will take ownership of 1 -2 projects from start to completion.
Responsibilities will include:
Day to day commercial record keeping
Identification of change to the contract
Evidencing of costs, forecasting of costs and programming of costs
Management of payment applications and sub-contractors
Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or similar and will be able to demonstrate no less than 12 months practical industry experience working on ciivil engineering or infrastructure projects. An understanding of NEC contracts is essential.
