Description
An opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer has become available to work on the delivery of civil engineering schemes on the Thames Water AMP 7 Framework.
The company are a privately owned main contractor that maintain a healthy presence across London and the South East of England.
They operate across the water and general infrastructure sectors for a range of clients.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager the Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for managing the life cycle of a range of schemes ranging in value from £2M - £8M.
Acting as an interface between the design and site based team responsibilities will include:
Providing input to the production of RAMS and Scope of Work
Supervise HSE on site ensuring highest standards at all times
Managing all relevant site documentation
Managing resources
Overseeing Temporary Works
Manage a resolve engineering issues both on site and with design team
Provide technical guidance with tenders.
Experience Required
Suitable applicants will have no less than five years site engineering experience combined with a good knowledge of water related civil engineering projects.
A good level of commercial awareness is required as is a stable career history working for recognised contractors
