This is a highly autonomous role, the Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the e delivery of utility projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that teams deliver work on time and within budget, be the leader of the team spearheading tenders, business development, day to day operations, project delivery and business growth.
Day to day duties are typical of an Operations Manager including taking responsibility for the P&L and ensuring budgets are adhered to and that Project Managers are achieving set programmes.
Suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate experience working as a contracts manager or operations manager within the civil engineering or utility sectors as well as experience managing P&L accounts. Excellent client facing and negotiating skills are essential as is the ability to lead an manage and motivate utility teams.
