Description
The business are responsible for the delivery of many landmark civil engineering projects across the capital including sections of works on and new stations for Crossrail and HiS2.
The role will suit an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor looking for a rewarding long-term career, the company have an unusually high level of staff retention and have a culture of recognising talent and promoting upwards from within.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager you will be responsible for leading a QS team of four and carrying out the full range of post contract Quantity Surveying duties including:
Cost forecasting, subcontract procurement, subcontract management payments, cash flow forecasting and assisting in compiling the monthly internal CVR.
You will manage a portfolio comprising of a number of civil engineering rail related schemes with a combined value of 25M-£30M per annum.
The contract is administered under NEC conditions.
Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent and will be able to demonstrate experience working at Senior QS or MQS level for recognised contractors.
You will have a stable career history and be well versed with NEC contracts.
Civil engineering, rail, utility or infrastructure experience is essential.
