Description
The Role
Reporting to the Planning Director you will manage a team of specialist consultants, stakeholders and provide leadership to a four direct reports.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading efficiencies in the delivery of the programme
Establishing and managing risks to the programme and ensuring budgets and timeframe targets are met
Develop scenario analysis to enable effective management of risk and opportunity
Managing resource levels, delegate appropriately and provide training and support to staff and stakeholders where necessary
Ensure delivery of timely project schedules and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Produce programme reports for the board of directors and senior executives.
Expereince Required
This role should appeal to a highly ambitious Programme Manager seeking the opportunity to make a tangible strategic difference to the overall running of a major business.
Candidates will educated to degree level and be able to demonstrate significant experience at a simular level within the infrastructure, oil, gas or utilities sector.
First class communication and presentation skills are essential as is strong commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills.
