Description

As part of an exciting change in strategy and approach an opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager has become available working for a prominent water authority in the South East of England. The company are responsible for clean and waste water networks and assets across Sussex and parts of Kent. This is a pivotal role in which the appointed Programme Manager will be responsible for leading the roll out and commercial success of a brand new pro-active maintenance strategy across the region.


The Role
Reporting to the Transformation Director you will manage a team of specialist consultants, stakeholders and provide leadership to a small team of direct reports.
The Programme Manager will be responsible driving efficiencies in the delivery of the programme, a key element will be managing change within the business
Establishing and managing risks to the programme and ensuring budgets and timeframe targets are met
Develop scenario analysis to enable effective management of risk and opportunity
Managing resource levels, delegate appropriately and provide training and support to staff and stakeholders where necessary
Ensure delivery of timely project schedules and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Produce programme reports for the board of directors and senior executives.

Experience Required
This role should appeal to a highly ambitious Programme Manager seeking the opportunity to make a tangible strategic difference to the overall running of a major business.
Candidates will educated to degree level and be able to demonstrate significant experience at a similar level within the infrastructure, oil, gas or utilities sector.
First class communication and presentation skills are essential as is strong commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills.
