Description
A specialist formwork and groundworks contractor have an opportunity for an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join their business initially there days per week.
The company predominantly works across the civil engineering sector and and current projects are based in Sussex, Kent and London.
The Role
The position is a mixture or pre and post contract with site visits required as required.
Estimating duties. will include taking off quantities from take-off software packages
Ensuring accurate tracking of all tender documentation
Preparing budget estimates and cost plans.
Processing new enquiries.
Downloading and saving tender information into the project file.
Collating the relevant tender information for the commercial team.
Quantity Surveying duties will include, cost reporting managing sub-contractors, client liaison, processing application for payments, identification of change and agreeing final accounts.
Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate significant experience working in a similar role on groundworks and concrete formwork projects.
There is flexibility as to where the role is based, the company have a regional base near Eastborne and it is expected weekly visits to the head office will take place (Covid permitting)
