Description
An opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor has become available with major civil engineering contractor that are delivering a £300M framework across Kent and Sussex.
The current work is scheduled to run until 2025 and consists of civil engineering capital projects in the water sector. Projects range from £10M-£30M in value and are administered under NEC conditions. The Role
Working as part of a commercial team the Quantity Surveyor will be involved with every aspect of the commercial life cycle of schemes including but not limited to:
Sub-contract monitoring and management, cost reporting and forecasting,
Managing early warnings and change control, agreeing final accounts with the supply chain.
Experienced Required
Suitable applicants must be educated to HNC /BSc Quantity Surveying or similar and will be able to demonstrate no less than two years practical Quantity Surveying experience within the civil engineering, infrastructure or utility sectors. An understanding of NEC contracts and excellent presentation and communication skills are essential.
