Description

A leading international tier one contractor responsible the delivery of some of the most prestigious landmark projects in London have an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on building services contract near Watford. This PFI contract and is set to run for 10 years and working in a high security environment the scope of works includes facilities management across building and grounds maintenance, infrastructure, IT and communications support services.

The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager the Senior QS will be responsible for the commercial delivery of M&E, Hard FM and building maintenance over the contract period.
Working in a client facing environment typical duties will include:
Working collaboratively with the procurement team to develop and manage the supply chain ensuring best practice and value is achieved.
Producing monthly cost and value reports and reconciliations
Providing leadership and guidance to junior members of the QS team
Maintain registers of lifecycle and variations contract works
Manage payment applications and agreement final accounts.

Expereince Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to HND or BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related construction or science degree and will be able to demonstrate no less than five years QS experience on construction, building services or facilities management projects.
