Description

Due to a recent successful tender a Tier 1 contractor is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on prestigious civil engineering and build project in Central Birmingham.
The scheme is valued at £36M and will be administered under NEC 4 terms and conditions.

The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager the Senior Quantity Surveyor will act as number two commercially on site
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Agreement of subcontractor interim measures and final accounts.
Drafting and negotiation of supply chain contracts.
Production of monthly CVR Reports

Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or similar and will be able to demonstrate no less than 3-4 years experience operating at Senior QS level.
Experience working on civil engineering projects under NEC terms is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of commercial success delivering civils schemes and new build construction projects valued upwards of £10M.
