Description
A leading tier 1 infrastructure contractor are seeking to appoint a Senior Estimator to complement their team in the South East.
The company have been awarded a string of recent successful tenders across the capital and are on track with their planned expansion in the highways sectors with the London Boroughs.
With head office in East London the Senior Estimator will be required to attend occasional meetings, however a high degree of flexibility is on offer to allow for remote working and flexible hours.
The Role
Reporting to the Bid Director and providing leadership to junior members of staff responsibilities will include:
Carrying out accurate take offs and estimating costs from first principles
Compiling financial tender documents including tender submissions
Carrying out tender data analysis an compiling reports for management
Manage tender programmes with support from the wider bid team
Carry out risk and value analysis of schemes
Experience Required
Suitable estimators will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success working on civil engineering or infrastructure projects and will have a good understanding of NEC contracts.
Experience with highways schemes, Section 278, hard landscaping or Public Realm works will be advantageous,
