Description

An opportunity for a Site Engineer has become available working for main contractor on water related civil engineering projects across Kent and East Sussex
The Site Engineer will form part of the civils team responsible for checking inspection test plans and ensuring all work on site are of a high standard and in line with the specification.

The Role
Reporting to the Site Agent and Project Manager responsibilities will include:
Liaise with Site/Project Manager regarding methods, QA and testing requirements
Setting out of the works ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis
Assisting with task briefings
Checking Inspection Test Plans
Resolving technical issues that arise
Assisting the Site & Project Manager in selection and methods of construction and producing RAMS for approval with a practical knowledge

Experience Required.
Suitable applicants will be educated to a minimum of HNC in Civil Engineering and ideally educated to Degree level.
You will be able to demonstrate no less than 2-3 years practical experience with excellent setting out, CAD and surveying skills and knowledge.
Experience of producing inspection plans is highly desirable
SMSTS and CSCS cards are essential.
