Description

An opportunity for a Senior Engineer has become available working for a specialist civil engineering contractor that operate across the South East of England. With offices in Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Kent the company deliver a range of interesting projects including river and coastal defence schemes as well a marine works and schemes for the MOD.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Agent the Senior Engineer will be required to provide leadership and guidance to Engineers whilst taking responsibility for maintain accurate site records and keeping and ensuring high standards of work and health & safety are adhered to.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
Setting out and carrying out Surveying
Monitoring QA on site
Checking and calibrating surveying equipment
Checking construction drawing and managing associated amendment and variations
Monitor the programme of works and produce short term plans

Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to HNC / BEng Civil Engineering and will be able to demonstrate previous experience working for a recognised contractor on civil engineering, infrastructure or utility projects in the UK.
Experience of coordinating temporary works is desirable as is SMSTS and a First Aid at Work Certificate.
CSCS card is essential.
