Description

A leading privately owned civil engineering contractor have an opportunity for a Construction Manager to work on the flagship HS2 project. The company work as both a Tier 1 and 2 contractor with a broad range of clients including service providers, major developers, rail & highways authorities and land owners, typical projects range in value from £5M-£20M.
Over the past 10 years the business have experienced significant organic growth both in the UK and internationally,

The Role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager the Construction Manager will responsible for agreeing budgets, planning and delivery of projects as well as managing the Supervisors on site.
Day to day responsibilities will include; managing health and safety, recruitment of site personnel, inspecting work on site, ensuring correct material and pant are delivered on time and providing leadership to the operations team.

Experience Required
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate previous experience working as a Construction Manager or Site Agent on civll engineering or utility projects.
Valid Gold/Black CSCS Card and SMSTS are essential and NRSWA ticket is desirable.
The role should appeal to an ambitious CM seeking to join an exciting growing business where the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects exists, both in London and Europe.
