Description
A tier one civil engineering contractor is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on their framework in the water sector. This presents a great opportunity to join a business that invest heavily in their staff training and development programmes and are well placed to support ambitious QSs seeking to achieve their RICS or APC. Despite being a large established business the company have maintained a culture more commonly associated with being a smaller business. The Role
Working under the guidance of a Senior QS you will be involved with every stage of the Quantity Surveying process; your responsibilities will include sub-contract management, commercial reporting and supplier accounts assessments. The contract is administered under NEC conditions and you will receive comprehensive training and practical experience using the various clauses.
Experience Required
To be considered you must be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying and be able to demonstrate no less than 12 months experience working on civil engineering, infrastructure or utility projects in the UK.
