Description
As part of their continued growth within the civil engineering sector a tier one contractor are seeking to appoint a Commercial Manager to lead a team on a major infrastructure project on the Hertfordshire Essex borders. The role presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Manager to pursue a rewarding career with a business who truly value their staff and who offer a diverse range of landmark projects to work on across the civils, infrastructure and rail sectors.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director you will provide leadership and guidance to a team of Quantity Surveyors on an infrastructure project valued at £80M. The packages includes utilities, an energy centre, access roads, a car park, associated drainage and hard landscaping. Responsibilities will include the management of commercial and contractual matters including the identification and management of risks, change management and cash flow management.
Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying and will be able to demonstrate the commercial success in the delivery of civil engineering or rail schemes valued at no less than £50M.
You will be well versed with NEC contracts and be looking to join a successful growing contractor with who you can progress your career to Commercial Director level.
