This role is with the utility division and the wider group maintain a strong presence in civils, rail, aviation and construction.

The Role
Reporting to the Managing QS you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of work valued at £15M
Providing leadership and support to junior members of the team and contractual advice and support to the operations delivery management
Reviewing Sub-contractors and engaging with and expanding the supply chain
Raising new subcontracts, monitoring and adherence to governance levels
Managing and reporting on change to the contract
Working closely with the Operational Lead to ensure that data is recorded accurately and identify risks and commercial opportunities. carry out sub-contact evaluations and authorising payments
Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to HNC / BSc Quantity Surveying and will have no less than five years QS experience working within the civil engineering or utility sectors.
You will have a thorough understanding for NEC forms of contracts and will be able to demonstrate a stable career history gained with either within a sub or main contractor environment.
