Description

A leading tier one civil engineering contractor has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a commercial change manager to complement their team on a Crossrail site in Central London.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to join a progressive business that invests heavily in the development of their work force and where there is scope to progress to director level.

The Role

Reporting to the project director your principle remit will be to inspire, motivate and lead a commercial team to ensure that you are all working towards protecting the commercial interest of the business by managing commercial functions in respect of change

You will be required to provide input into financial reporting resulting from the Change Management and process information in a format that is presentable to senior managers including board member on a monthly basis. You will also manage claims and disputes that may arise including negotiating with relevant parties.

You will also manage all contractual correspondence with the client

Experience Required

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of commercial success at Senior or Managing Quantity Surveying level combined with a thorough understanding of NEC forms of contracts.

You must be able to demonstrate experience of identifying and managing change on large civil engineering schemes.

Any previous experience working on major infrastructure projects such as Crossraill or CRTL will be advantageous.
