Description
A large multi-disciplined Civil Engineering main contractor is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to work on a highways services contract in Peterborough.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager the successful QS will assist with the delivery of large highways improvement and surfacing schemes.
The Role
Responsibilities will include the management of sub-contractor accounts, cost planning and forecasting, cost reporting, producing Bills of Quantities & Schedule of rates, calculating variations, pricing compensation events and settling final accounts.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious main contractor on a new contract at the early stages of a five year framework agreement. Experience Required
To be considered you will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying and be able to demonstrate a stable career history working on civil engineering or highways related projects in the UK
