Description

Due to a recently awarded framework a leading utility contractor have an opportunity for a Fibre Installation Engineer to join their team to work on projects in in London .
This is a great opportunity for a motivated Fibre Engineer to join an established business at the start of their journey in the telecoms and fibre sector. Excellent prospects for career advancement to Site Supervisor are on offer.

The Role

• The business are rolling out a 10Gbps FTTP networks and have a plan to cover a total of 200,000 premises bringing truly exceptional connectivity services to homes and businesses in the South East of England.
• The Fibre Installation Engineer must have Smart Awards SA001 and SA002 accreditation and experience operating with Openreach products

Experience Required
• Suitable Fibre Engineers will be able to demonstrate:
• Experience working within multiple telecommunications FTTP projects
• Operating with the Openreach PIA products.
• Cable installation, splitter box installation, fibre blowing and fibre routing and power testing
• Knowledge of street works safe working practices, including NRSWA Signing, Lighting and Guarding
• NRSWA and Safe Working Practices Accredited
• Smart Awards SA001 and SA002 is essential.
