Reporting to the ETS Modelling manager and working as part of an existing team the Hydraulic Modeller will manage network modelling outcome and hydraulic investigations and formulate concise reports for the business. Responsibilities will include:
Carrying out zonal review process to understand supply risks and opportunities that exist to efficiently mange assets ensuring resilient supplies to customers
Attending district meetings and providing specialist technical advice to network and operational teams, working with asset plan managers to develop area integrated plans
Undertake feasibility studies and to develop, innovate and promote water network modelling capabilities.
Suitable candidates will be educated to Bsc / MSc Civil Engineering or Geography / Science.
It is essential that candidates can demonstrate an extensive knowledge of hydraulics modelling within the water supply network sector.
A minimum of 2--3 years experience using ICM - Integrated Catchment Modelling Software is also essential
A thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
First class verbal and report writing skills are essential.
