Description

An established specialist highways and infrastructure contractor that operate across London are seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to complement their team in London
The business are part of a wider group that deliver major infrastructure projects across the UK. They have experienced significant organic growth over the last three years and have built a stable commercial team who deliver term maintenance contracts across the capital. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of works with a combined value of £16M.
This role presents an excellent career opportunity for an ambitious QS seeking fast track progression to a Senior Quantity Surveyor role.

The Role
Reporting to the MQS =responsibilities will include supporting and assisting with:
Verifying sub-contract requisitions
Managing sub-contract accounts including applications for payment
Liaising with and providing commercial support to site teams
Maintaining records and produce monthly cost and value reports
Managing sub-contract payments and agree final accounts

Experienced Required
Suitable candidates will be educated to HNC / BSc in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management and will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of NEC contracts.
You will be able to demonstrate an excellent grasp of Microsoft Excel and and a proven track record of commercial success delivering infrastructure, highways maintenance and or utility projects.
