Description
The business is on a significant growth trajectory and the Reporting Manager will play a critical role in enabling the company to achieve its strategic ambitions.
With an ever-increasing pace and evolving customer needs, the business needs to ensure that its product and change portfolio is delivered effectively and efficiently.
As a result, a new Enterprise Portfolio Management capability is being established to plan, monitor, report on and assure the delivery of all initiatives across the business.
This is a hybrid working role with two days per week expected in the office.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Data & Reporting the Reporting Manager will manage internal and external reporting relating to the Enterprise Portfolio with a focus on monthly input to the executive committee to allow timely interventions to happen if required. The role is focussed on delivering insights on the health of the portfolio which support strategic decision making and delivery efficiency. This will require the role holder to work with senior stakeholder to understand, develop and deliver reporting requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
Reporting on data driven insights to help ensure that initiatives are delivered per plan from a scope, timeline, resource, cost, and benefits perspective.
Define & Manage the routine reporting cadence, including delivery of a monthly report to OpCo, ensuring alignment with EPMO objectives and stakeholder needs
Support the Head of Data & Reporting to deliver all EPMO-related regulatory reporting (e.g. OFGEM etc)
Oversee compliance of reporting activities with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Proactively flag any risks and issues relating to non-compliance and drive through appropriate mitigations.
Coordinate with functional / directorate stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data capture and reporting.
Develop and maintain any required reporting templates and tools that support EPMO functions.
Analyse reporting data to identify trends, insights and areas for improvement.
Work with and through key f stakeholders to ensure time recording adherence
Experience Required
Suitable Reporting Managers will be educated to Degree level and will be able to demonstrate experiecne in Project or Programme Management with a thorough understanding of Project Management methodologies
The Portfolio Reporting Manager must have Portfolio Reporting expertise within a regulatory environment and be an experienced user of a wide range of data analysis and reporting tools.
