Description

Due to a string of recent successful tenders a leading independent building and civil engineering contractor have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in London.
This role presents a great opportunity to work on large Data Centre project valued at circa £25M and lead the project from inception to client hand over.

The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Director responsibilities will include;
Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver the project
Selecting and leading a project team
Negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services
Reporting regularly on progress to the client and internally
Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders
Resolving any issues/ delays which may occur
Communicating with clients, contractors, colleagues and suppliers on the progress of a project
Ensuring correct documentation is in place for bids

Experience Required
Ideal applicants will have experience in planning, directing, managing and providing oversight on key projects. Experience with Data Centre planning and construction would be ideal however we welcome applicants who can demonstrate a stable career history working on major projects.
