Description

Due to a recently awarded tender a specialist design and build contractor are seeking to appoint a Senior QS to complement their commercial team in Kent
The company operates across Sussex and Kent and undertake a range of civlls, M&E, process and MEICA works on behalf of a range of water authorities.
Current scheme include reservoir refurbishments automation systems, pumping systems and environmental protection works and range in value between £500K-£8M.

The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager and along side senior members of the operational team you will be involved with both pre and post contract elements of the QS function.
Day to day responsibilities will include: providing input to tenders, supply chain procurement and management, cost reporting, preparation of monthly valuations, providing commercial support and advice to operational team members, CVR's and carrying out change management to the contract.
The contact is managed under NEC terms and conditions.

Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or similar and will have no less than three years post graduate experience.
You will be able to demonstrate experience working on ciivil engineering, MEICA or utility projects and you will have an excellent understanding of NEC contracts.
