Description

An opportunity for an experienced site engineer has become available working on HS2 for a specialist civil engineering contractor in London.
The company have significantly expanded over the past five years they maintain a high profile within the utility sector and carry out a range of civil engineering and power utility project for tier one contractors.

The Role
The site engineer will report to a project manager and the main responsibilities for this role will be:
Site based setting out
Produce as-built surveys
Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
Use a robotic total station to provide levelling and surveying across the site.
Carry out all up front documentation
Ensure all Quality Assurance documentation is carried out to highest standards.
Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols

Experience Required
Suitable site engineers will be educated to HND of Degree Civil Engineering and will be able to demonstrate experience working on civil engineering and or utility projects
Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of managing QA and upfront paper work is essential.
Valid CSCS card is essential
A good understating awareness of construction health & safety protocol
