Description

An opportunity for a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor with construction / building experience as become available to work on the prestigious Crossrail project.

Site based in Central London and reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be involved with the early stages of the construction of a new station. The project is still in design stage with construction due to commence in 18 months.

Your initial focus will be on architectural issues and the procurement process.

Suitable candidates will be educated to HNC/ BSc Quantity Surveying and will be able to demonstrate design experience sound procurement experience and a thorough understanding of NEC contracts. You will ideally have worked at Senior QS level on the construction of railway or London Underground stations.

This position is immediately available and presents a long- term role to the successful candidate.
