Description
A leading major civil engineering contractor are seeking to appoint a Managing Quantity Surveyor to deliver a highways maintenance project in Oxfordshire This presents a great opportunity for an ambitious career minded Senior QS or Managing QS looking to join a leading international contractor where every opportunity exists to progress to Commercial Director level.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manger you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to the project teams on commercial and contractual issues whilst ensuring the overall commercial success of the scheme.
Working along side the Contracts Director you will be manage the procurement process, manage and identify risks, prepare and manage cash forecasts, identify prepare and negotiate any claims that arise.
Experience Required
Suitable applications will be experienced Commercial Managers with a proven track record gained working on civil engineering infrastructure projects.
Ideal candidates will have delivered major highways project, although this is not essential.
