Description
As part of an increase in their workload a leading infrastructure and utility service provider are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The company have an excellent reputation as a leading employer and are part of a wider group who have interests across the whole construction industry. Plenty of scope is on offer for achieving further career progression and to enhance or gain experience in other sectors such as rail and heavy civil engineering
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will provide leadership to a team of QSs on a civil engineering / utility framework in the water sector. Project range in value from £500K - £5M and the expected annual turnover is circa £20M. Works include mains renewals, developer services and repair & maintenance works, mostly administered under NEC 3 (Options A and C) terms.
Experience Required
Suitable candidates will be educated to HNC / BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent and be able to demonstrate a proven track record or career progression gained working for civils contractors in the UK. Ideal candidates will have experience working in the water sector.
