Description
As part of their continued growth within the civil engineering sector a tier one contractor is seeking to appoint Site Engineers, initially on night shift, on a major highways project in Bedfordshire. The Role
The Engineer is an integral member of the site operations team, the team being responsible for the effective and efficient running of the site throughout the delivery of the project. You will establish accurate and clear setting out on the ground that site operatives can work to and communicate clearly to the operatives what the setting out is and how it should be used. You will set out well in advance so that time is available to carry out any secondary checks and you will be responsible for maintaining project control stations and ensuring regular instrument calibration and testing is conducted.
Experience Required
You will have had a minimum of 1 years varied setting out experience using up to date, modern survey instrumentation and have either a MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC/ Degree in Civil Engineering or similar. You will also have the desire to further develop your career and professional membership within a company where it is actively encouraged.
