Description
Due to an internal transfer a major civil engineering contractor are seeking to appoint a Managing Quantity Surveyor to complement their water division.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking employer who work across all sectors of the built environment including, rail, civil engineering infrastructure, commercial and utilities
The Role
Based in North Kent close to Dartford and reporting to the Commercial Manger principle duties and accountabilities will include:
Providing leadership and guidance to a team of four QS’s
Preparing budget and forecast for each designated contract and ensure alignment with tender submission.
Providing monthly CVR’s on each designated contract
Providing client with monthly sales invoices, working closely with operational teams to ensure accurate monthly valuations are completed
Develop sound relationship with client and supply chain and supervision of junior members of the QS team.
Experience Required
To be considered you must be educated to HNC / BSc Quantity Surveying and be able to demonstrate commercial experience on water, utility or civil engineering contract and be familiar with a range of engineering contracts including NEC.
This role could suit an ambitious Senior QS looking for the next step up.
