Description
An opportunity for a career minded Quantity Surveyor has become available working for a leading civil engineering contractor.
The business have an annual turnover in excess of £500M and operate across the rail, civils and utility sectors and a network of regional offices through out the UK.
The Role
Reporting to and being supported by the Managing QS , duties will include ensuring effective cost control, carrying out compensation events and agreeing sub-contractor final accounts on a range of water related schemes valued up to £8M per annum.
You will work closely with the operations teams and provide commercial support and advice where appropriate.
Experience Required
Suitable candidates will be educated to HND / BSc Quantity Surveying and will be able to demonstrate previous experience working on civils or utility contracts in the UK. Any experience of working on framework agreements will be advantageous.
This role is immediately available.
