The business are enjoying a planned growth trajectory and as such this is a new position to support the existing commercial team.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager the Cost Analyst will be accountable for Cost Control, Cost Analysis and Cost Reporting.
Responsibilities will include:
The co-ordination and raising of materials , plant, sub-contract, requisitions and allocations ensuring costs are controlled and managed.
Production of management information to assist in identification of risk and opportunity to the cost base.
Produce weekly cost reports for management to review.
Ensure that allocation and associated orders have been raised and reviewed and allocated to the correct cost centres.
Experience Requried
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate previous experience working within the civil engineering or construction sector as a Cost Analyst.
The role may appeal to Cost Analyst seeking to join a company that can offer ongoing training and professional development towards a role in Quantity Surveying.
