Project Quantity Surveyor – Water, Utilities & Civil Engineering

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor delivering infrastructure, water, utilities and civil engineering projects across the UK.

Reporting into the commercial team, you will take ownership of project finances from tender handover through to final account, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
Manage project costs, budgets and forecasts
Prepare valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts
Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and variations
Produce accurate commercial reports and cost forecasts
Support project delivery teams with commercial advice
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
NEC3/NEC4 contract experience
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Strong Excel and reporting skills
Water, utilities, infrastructure or MEICA experience is desirable
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred
