Managing Quantity Surveyor – Utilities / Civil Engineering
£85,000 + Package | Hybrid Working | Progression to Commercial Manager
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a growing infrastructure and utilities contractor. You will play a key role within the commercial team, overseeing a portfolio of projects and supporting the Commercial Manager.
With a strong forward order book and continued growth, this role offers clear progression to Commercial Manager.
Location: Hybrid working with travel to London and Middlesex project sites.
Key responsibilities
• Managing subcontractors, project accounts and commercial reporting
• Supporting the Commercial Manager and mentoring junior team members
• Overseeing valuations, measurements and CVR reporting
• Contract review and NEC contract management
• Managing commercial risk, disputes and cost control
Requirements
• Experience as a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor
• Background in utilities, infrastructure or civil engineering projects
• Strong NEC contract and subcontract management experience
• Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
• Full UK driving licence
