Description
The role is site based and accessible via train which opens up the role to London based Quantity Surveyors that have access to Euston station.
The QS will assist with the close out and final accounts on a number of legacy projects.
The Role
The Quantity Surveyor will provide support to the Commercial Manager on a number of rail related civil engineering projects that are administered under NEC conditions.
Day to day duties will include:
Prepare, review, and monitor budgets, ensuring cost control and accuracy.
Collaborate with project teams to provide timely and accurate cost advice.
Administer NEC contracts
Assisting with preparing and negotiating variations, and final accounts.
Agreeing and administering sub-contract payments
Experience Required
Suitable Quantity Surveyors will be educated to BSc level and have a through working knowledge of NEC3 contracts.
Experience in managing civil engineering or rail projects commercially is essential.
