The Opportunity
You will be responsible for overseeing reinstatement activities across a portfolio of utility works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality and highway authority standards.
The work is predominantly based within approximately one hour of Basingstoke, meaning you can enjoy a genuinely local patch rather than spending your working week travelling across the country.

Key Responsibilities
Manage reinstatement operations across multiple utility projects
Oversee teams, subcontractors and reinstatement crews
Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements
Maintain high standards of reinstatement quality
Liaise with clients, local authorities, highways teams and other stakeholders
Monitor productivity, quality and performance
Ensure works comply with relevant highway specifications and legislation
Identify and resolve operational issues
Support the planning and coordination of reinstatement activities
Drive continuous improvement across the reinstatement function
Provide leadership and support to site-based teams
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong background in utility reinstatement, highways, street works or civil engineering.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience managing reinstatement activities
Experience within utilities, highways or infrastructure
Strong knowledge of reinstatement standards and highway requirements
Experience managing teams and subcontractors
Good understanding of Street Works / NRSWA requirements
Strong organisational and communication skills
A proactive approach with the ability to solve problems
The confidence to take ownership and manage multiple priorities
