An exciting opportunity for a water Resource Planning Specialist has become available with a leading infrastructure services provider in the South East
The principle elements of the role are data and planning, the Resource Planning specialist will need to work to tight deadlines within a regulated framework environment.
This is an important and rewarding role that will allow the successful candidate to be able to contribute to securing water supply for the future.
You need not have a background in Water or Wastewater. We welcome applications from candidates outside of the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas. This role has a focus on the future and innovation is wholly welcome. If you have previous experience of in-depth data analysis and planning, then we would love to hear from you.

The Role
Reporting to the Demand Strategy Manager responsibilities will include:
Supporting the development of the company's 50-year Water Resource Management Plan and their contribution to outcome delivery strategies and investment plans to meet our commitment to provide a constant supply of high-quality drinking water’ to customers.
Gathering information and research for review and analysis of future water supply needs, availability and costs of options for water resource management and drought planning.
Interpreting regulatory requirements and guidance for use in water resource management and drought planning.
Representing the company in external meetings, forums and workshops with regulators, water companies and other stakeholders.
This role is being offered on a hybrid working basis.

Experience Required
Suitable applicants will have previous experience of in-depth data analysis and planning,
Enthusiastic about data and passionate about data analysis.
Understanding of regulatory frameworks.
You will have a positive can-do attitude and willingness to working independently at times both at home and in the office.
