Description

A leading Civil Engineering contractor are seeking to increase its commercial team with the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a Civil Engineering scheme valued at £25M per annum. This role presents the opportunity to work on a project that has a minimum of 12 months to run.

The Role
Reporting to the commercial manager you will initially carry out sub-contract procurement for packages. Once the schemes are live you will be responsible for the full post contract QS function including:
Monitoring contract costs against budgets
Identifying and managing potential risks
Preparation and agreeing CVRs
Agreeing final accounts.

Experience Required
Suitable Quantity Surveyors will be educated to BSc level in a related discipline and must be well versed with NEC forms of contracts.
You will have no less than five years QS experience working on civil engineering, utility or infrastructure projects in the UK. Any previous experience working on water schemes will be advantageous.
