A specialist multi-utility contractor are seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to complement their team in Hertfordshire.
The business operate frameworks in the water, gas and power sectors and in recent years have enjoyed significant growth.
They have a loyal base of long-term clients and are operating in an buoyant market sector.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing QS you the role will assume post contract commercial duties including:
Identification and mitigation of commercial risks
Accurately capturing costs and cost reporting
Production of CVR's
Providing leadership and support to junior members of the team.
Working closely with and supporting the project managers
Attending client meetings.
Experience Required
Suitable Senior Quantity Surveyors will be educated to BSc level and have no less than five years experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure projects in the UK.
A good understanding of NEC forms of contract is essential.
Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate utility experience.
