Description

Due to recently awarded tenders a specialist earthworks contractor are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.
The business provide earthworks solutions, temporary access roads, car parking facilities and landscaping services to a range of major contractors. Typically projects will form part of major distribution and retail premises across the country.

The Role
Reporting to the Commerial lead you will work along side a small team of QS's and a project controls coordinator.
Responsibilities will include :
Managing forecasts
Producing cost reports
Managing change / variations to the contract
Providing leadership and guidance to junior members of the team.

Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate significant post contract QS experience working on civil engineering projects in the UK.
Any expereince working on earthwork and highways contracts will be advantageous.
